Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street
Taylor Swift was singing this line in her song while I was exercising. I had to stop and think about it and what it meant. I couldn't help but wonder what ever happened to "love is a many splendid thing". The line in the song has been going though my brain for the past few days. It makes me realize the gap between myself and the grandchildren. How will they see love someday?

Story Circle
This past weekend I had a wonderful gift from my good friend Joyce Boatright. She came in from the Woodlands and took me to a Story Circle workshop on exploring happiness. 15 Women attended the workshop led by a very creative facilitator Jeanne Guy (www.jeanneguy.com). We spent the day pondering through thought, word, and writing what is happiness. What really makes me happy are my grandchildren and family. However it's pretty clear that happiness is something we create for ourselves. Staying in touch with good friends, being willing to explore new experiences, being honest with yourself and writing are ways I find that happiness. Story Circle Network is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping women share the stories of their lives. Check them out at www.storycircle.org
